Captain Gregory Burton will be our guest on October 15 at the Honolulu Airport Hotel.  As the 47th commander of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, CAPT Burton is responsible for repairing, maintaining and modernizing the Pacific Command's naval forces to keep them "Fit to Fight."  
He oversees one of the four Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) shipyards, a one-stop regional maintenance center for the Navy's surface ships and submarines, and with a combined civilian and military workforce of more than 6,000 is the largest industrial employer in the state of Hawaii.

CAPT Burton will provide updates on the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Plan, comment on the successes of the Apprenticeship Program as well as share information on the strategically important International Shipyard Management Course, now in its 20th year.

CAPT Burton keeps his team Mission Focused, instilling values of safety, security and mutual respect to ensure PHNSY & IMF remains the Navy's "No Ka 'Oi" maintenance provider in the heart of the Pacific.
