Earlier this year, the State of Hawaii, along with 15 other states and one territory, was selected to participate in an innovative program developed by SANS Institute called GirlsGoCyberStart for young women in high school to inspire them in cybersecurity.
Over 6.500 students participated nationally with 329 students from Hawaii.
Of the 118 Hawaii teams that participated, the eight top performing teams that excelled in this challenging program and their advisors are being recognized in today’s recognition ceremony.
Congratulations to Hawaii’s future cybersecurity professionals!
