Colonel Raul Lianez, Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Base Hawaii was our guest on May 10th at the Honolulu Airport Hotel. With the Asia-Pacific re-balance, Marine Corps Base Hawaii was looking forward to the future.
Col. Lianez discussed the opportunities and challenges that the installation faced in regard to modernization and training throughout the state. People attending the meeting learned how the base produces readiness, promotes resiliency and projects power. Attendees also learned about how the base was able to integrate the "Three P's" while keeping pace with technologies that signified their commitment to the environment, sustainability and conservation.
