JBPHH Volunteer Awards

Volunteers who serve the military community are invited to participate in an award competition and volunteer appreciation ceremony. Individuals and partner agencies are invited to submit nominees for Volunteer of the Year, Youth Volunteer of the Year, Volunteer Family of the Year, Military Spouse Volunteer of the Year, Volunteer Agency of the Year, and Volunteer Unit/Command of the Year.
The intent of the program is to foster a spirit of service and community cohesion.
Volunteer hours represent a value of $152,000 hours of work donated to the JBPHH community. 

 This year, Honolulu Navy League's very own Talena Bales and her family received an award for their exemplary performance of volunteerism.
The Bales family collectively put in 2,250 hours of volunteer work for various organizations throughout the state of Hawaii.
